The women’s team kickstarted their second half of the season with a solid win against KauWi with 4-1. Iida Laine (3) and Jessica Hietikko scored for the women’s team.
The second game of the day was played against the home team – Nurmon Jymy. Jymy forced a victory with their forechecking and speed, and even if the home team was pretty good, the end result is far from satisfactory. A 1-4 loss against one of the teams that we are competing against at the bottom half of the table is not good enough.
The games continue on the 29th of January at home in Kristiinahalli, when the second derby against SB Kauhajoki will be played in the morning. In the evening game SC Kokkola lines up.
